Living in a Convent

with the Dominican Friars

The international community of Dominican friars is above all a home of fraternal life, study, celebration, prayer and Christian apostolic work. Since 2021, the community has maintained close links with people and institutions in the EU, with a particular interest in building a Europe that is humane, spiritual and concerned with sustainable global development.

The Dominican friars offer a modest living in their convent to men. Five furnished single rooms for rent are available to male trainees and employees who work in connection with European institutions and who wish to live in a religious community on a temporary base.

As far as possible, residents are welcome to attend celebrations, prayers at Lauds and Vespers, and the events and conferences the community organises.

The community would like residents to take part every two months in an particular encounter with the community: a celebration followed by a meal and sharing about our commitments and interests, eventually with guests.
