The Dominicans Friars run the Catholic international student chaplaincy in Rotterdam. It is mainly international students and young professionals (expats) who are part of the student parish and attend the celebrations. Therefore, the main language in the chaplaincy is English.
Besides celebrations, the brothers offer courses in preparation for sacraments such as baptism and confirmation, or for the deepening of faith. They also organise regular lectures and cycles of theme evenings around, for example, the synod and the social teachings of the Church. In addition, various social activities are mostly organised by the community itself. An annual pilgrimage to Rome, for example, is part of our activities. Keep an eye on the calendar for an up-to-date overview of our activities.
The student parish community is a young and rapidly growing community.
This summer, we again can be found at the info market of the Eureka week, the introduction week of Erasmus University in Rotterdam.

Fr Michael-Dominique Magielse o.p. is the student chaplain of the English-speaking student parish. This community is part of the diocesan student parish of St Catherine of Alexandria with locations in Rotterdam, Delft and Leiden.
Holy Mass in Rotterdam are every Sunday evening at 6pm in St Lambertus Church.
Every Sunday, prior to Mass from 5:15pm- 6pm there isopportunity forconfessional, you can also make an appointment.
