The brothers have come here for studies at KU Leuven, both in initial formation and further studies (Masters and/or PhD). Most of the brothers are studying at the faculty of theology or the faculty of philosophy but the community can also accommodate brothers who wish to study in other faculties. Some of the brothers are at the moment engaged in different pastoral fields (parishes, health care, medias, conferences, retreats, courses…) . The priory of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Leuven is home to an international English-speaking community of brothers. The community was founded in the summer of 2022 and is the formation house of the province of Belgium since September 2023.
Student housing
The priory of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception in Leuven currently offers around twenty rooms for students wishing to study at the KULeuven or at a higher education institution in the city of Leuven. Each room is furnished with a bed, desk and wardrobe, and has a sink and shower. Toilets are shared. There are seven rooms per floor and each floor has a fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, dishwasher, sink, oven, fridge and freezer).
